Background: Roderich doesn't like to admit he's in a higher-class, bur surrounded by it all of his life has made him a bit of an elitist. He's trying to become less of an elitist by mixing with kids of all ages and classes.
He's smart in more than the field of music, excelling in many fields of academics, from debate to home ec. He holds his tongue when his parents lecture him, because his sarcasm overpowers everything else when his parents talk to him. As a kid, he rarely put up a fight with many things, but hated dinner and wanted to skip to dessert. He was stuck babysitting his parents' friends' kids and learned to have patience. He became very studious freshman year even though his college fund is padded and secure.
