Background (Doesn't have to be too much, I just ask that you give family and such to give your student a bit more depth.):

Raised in a typical Danish household, Mathias quickly had to become the house leader while his father was gone. Being the only guy in a house filled with 6 girls (5 sisters and his mother), he had the tendency of going out and having a 'guy's' night out. In Copenhagen he was known to be the leader of a group of guys who everyone tended to want to either be around or not get into bad terms with them. He was funny, charming, and handsome, but unfortunately he also became more self-centered and his ego seemed to just build up that people would always think he's kidding when he tells them he's the happiest guy on the planet and they're just lucky to be his friend. His dad coming home one buisness trip right away noticed this and decided sending him away for a bit might turn his attitude around. Mathias is a nice guy and all, but it seems that his ego just wasn't small enough to fit in the densely populated city.
